8) Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world rather than from Christ.

25) Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.
26) Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.
What is fear ?
an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
Fear is real and natural; at times it is more real to us than what we fear. Fear may leave us unsettled, insecure, doubting our self-worth, struggling with our sleep and health, and worrying about tomorrow or even if tomorrow will come. The issues that we need settled are these: How do we avoid fear when we can, how do we live with it when we must, and what can we learn from it?
God’s Promise:
9) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do no be terrified or dismayed ( intimidated), for I’m the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
